Labour MP Bill Esterson praised those in Sefton Central who got involved in the annual MacMillan coffee morning event and helped raise money for cancer support. The coffee morning is an annual event, with thousands of hosts signing up to raise money from across the country. It took place on 30th September this year, and is set to exceed the incredible £25 million made last year.
Bill Esterson MP said “I’ve enjoyed many Macmillan coffee mornings over the years and they’re always fantastic. I am proud that so many people in Sefton Central hosted a coffee morning, I understand the time and effort it can take. The Macmillan Trust is a wonderful charity and I am pleased to see it get the support of my constituents. Well done to everyone who either hosted an event or took part and gave generously.”
