Sefton Central Labour MP Bill Esterson had the chance to meet some entrepreneurs of the future from Green Park at last week's summer fair.
Bill attended the joint summer fair of St John Boscoe and Green Park primary schools.
While there he had the chance to sample a hot chocolate which young business people had produced and were selling.
Green Park School Council, which is made up of the pupils, were selling refreshments as part of a business project.
All profits made from the sales are reinvested to grow the business.
Bill Esterson said he was impressed with the young people's business acumen.
Bill said: "I really enjoyed the spring fair. It was good to see the two schools working together and raising much needed funds.
"The children had lots of fun with all the games and stalls at the fair and I would like to congratulate the staff, parents and grandparents for all their hard work.
"I was very impressed by the Green Park School Council. They have a really good approach to business and will go far."
