Sefton Central Labour MP Bill Esterson meets Aintree family whil

Sefton Central Labour MP Bill Esterson, wife Caroline and caseworker Veronica Bennett, meet the Dunbabin family from Aintree.


Sefton Central Labour MP Bill Esterson welcomed an Aintree family to Parliament this week.

The Dunbabin family were give a guided tour of the historic Palace of Westminster and even had the chance to meet their MP.

Bill Esterson said he was delighted to meet the family during their visit.

Bill said: "It was a pleasure to meet up with Shaun and the rest of the Dunbabin family from Aintree during their visit to Westminster.

"The family had the chance to go on a tour of Parliament and hear some of the amazing history behind the Palace of Westminster and hear about some of the historic characters who have walked these corridors.

"The whole family clearly enjoyed their visit and I had some time with them to tell them about some of the work that I as an MP does in an average working day.

"It was fantastic to meet the whole family."

Bill wants to encourage other people from Sefton Central to take advantage of a visit to Westminster.

Bill said: "The Houses of Parliament really are an amazing place to visit with centuries’ worth of history.

"I am keen for people from Sefton Central to take the opportunity to come along and enjoy a visit. The tours are fascinating and not enough people have taken advantage of the opportunity to attend.
