Mayor and Mayoress of Maghull Labour's Cllrs Steve and Gwen Kermode said Maghull Musical Theatre Company did the town proud at its latest show.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Maghull joined Mayor and Mayoress of Sefton Cllrs Kevin and Linda Cluskey at the theatre company's latest show, Jekyll & Hyde at Southport Little Theatre.
Jekyll & Hyde the Musical was Maghull Musical Theatre Company's 70 show in its 29 year history.
Mayor of Maghull Cllr Kermode said he had been delighted to represent Maghull at the show.
Cllr Kermode said: "Maghull Musical Theatre company's performance of Jekyll & Hyde the Musical really was excellent and they did Maghull proud.
"I was honoured to represent the town at the show and I was proud that people from throughout Sefton were getting the chance to watch and listen to some very talented people from Maghull perform.
"Each and every performer in the show was absolutely outstanding. They were tremendous actors and fantastic singers and I congratulated all of them after the show.
"And the people behind the scenes were fantastic."
Cllr Kermode said he was looking forward to Maghull Musical Theatre Company's next show.
Cllr Kermode said: "Maghull Musical Theatre Company has rightly got a fantastic reputation for putting on great shows.
"Jekyll & Hyde the Musical is yet another outstanding performance.
"Gwen and I are looking forward to the company's next show."
