Sudell Ward Labour Councillor visits the grot spot with resident MartinParker.

Maghull Labour Action Team is working on tackling a grot spot which residents say is a dangerous eyesore.
Residents say land between Dennett Close and Boyer Avenue has become overgrown with weeds and is littered with broken glass.
Cllr Lynn Gatherer has contacted Sefton Council's contractors to clear the area up.
Cllr Gatherer said: "Residents along Dennett close have become increasingly concerned about the condition of the land between the close and Boyer Avenue.
"The land is completely overgrown with weeds and there's a danger of broken glass strewn around the area which is a major concern.
"There are young families in this area and my fear is that a youngster will end up getting hurt."
Cllr Gatherer said she wanted to ensure that once cleared, she didn't want to see the area fall back into the same condition.
Cllr Gatherer said: "The community here clearly want something doing with this area. The land has become a serious grotspot.

"The first stage is getting the land cleared. Then we can look at ensuring that it is on a regular rota of cleaning."
