Sefton Central Labour MP Bill Esterson and wife Caroline got the chance to meet some very happy Maghull youngsters during a visit to a nursery last week.

Bill and Caroline were invited to visit 'It's The Little Things Children's Day Nursery' at Maghull's Parkhaven Trust.

They had the chance to meet staff and the children at the centre.

Caroline said: "The It's the Little Things Children's Day Nursery really is fantastic. The natural surroundings add to the children's enjoyment and it was good to see them enjoy the fresh food which is prepared for them.

"It is a lovely place and I am really pleased the invited Bill and I to go along."

Bill said he was impressed by the nursery, the staff and the children.

Bill said: "I was very impressed by the nursery, it is a fabulous facility.

"Parkhaven itself is a fabulous setting for a nursery and the children benefit from the natural surroundings, which the nursery make the most of.

"I'd like to thank owners Scott McCubbin and Louise Waller and their team for showing us around and I look forward to my next visit."
