Maghull Town Council’s Labour leader Cllr Caroline Esterson and Mayor of Maghull Cllr Sandra Williams with Sefton Meadows shop manager Lesley Sandys.

Final preparations are being made for the Mayor of Maghull's Flower and Plant Sale.

The sale, which will be held from 11am-4pm on Sunday, June 10, at Maghull Town Hall, will raise funds for the Mayor's charities - Woodlands Hospice and Zoe's Place.

Maghull and Lydiate nurseries, Sefton Meadows, Windmill Nurseries, Lydiate Barn, Hartley's Garden Centre and Lady Green Nursery, are among the businesses who are supporting the event and having stalls.

Last year's Mayor of Maghull, Cllr Sandra Williamsm, said: "As well as raising funds for two very worthy charities, we hope it will be an enjoyable day for everyone.

"As well as being able to pick up some bargains, we will also have experts on hand to answer questions and give advice.

"I'd like to thank all the businesses who are supporting the day.

"I'm really looking forward to it and I hope everyone comes along to support the event and our chosen charities."

Mayor of Maghull's Plant Sale will be held from 11am-4pm on Sunday, June 10, at Maghull Town Hall.

Sellers' tables are just £10 on the day. To book a spot, call Pat Annal at Maghull Town Hall on 0151 526 3705.

Entrance to the flower and plant sale is just £1 for adults with children getting in for free.
