Santander serves up fraud advice to MP and constituents

Sefton Central MP Bill Esterson has had his chips courtesy of Santander’s fraud prevention team. The MP and shadow Business Minister visited Santander’s ‘phish and chips’ van to tuck into some tasty fries and learn how to avoid online and text bank scams. Mr Esterson praised the bank’s unique way of helping to educate the public about the danger of losing money due to phishing.

MP supports RAFA fundraising bid for Forces families

Sefton Central MP Bill Esterson is backing an RAF campaign encouraging people to “give – as they gave”. Mr Esterson met up with charity collector John Hegan in Maghull during Battle of Britain (Wings) Week, part of the RAF Association’s Wings Appeal. The Wings Appeal is the RAF Association’s fundraising campaign that runs throughout the year.

Sefton Central MP Bill Esterson has backed residents of Hightown who oppose the building of a 70ft mast in the centre of the village. The MP wrote to the Planning Inspector to object to an appeal by Vodafone after its application to Sefton Council to build the mast was refused. Mr Esterson said refusal was the right decision and that the mast would have "a hugely detrimental visual impact".
