Bill Esterson speaks at Warrington National Policy Forum

Bill was the guest speaker last Friday (May 20th) at the Labour National Policy Forum in Warrington. Bill spoke at the Cheshire NPF event about the issue of building the economy, whilst criticising the current government of attacking those most economically vulnerable at a time of harsh cuts in spending.

The Labour MP said the Conservative government has “constantly attacked those most in need, poorest and those with disabilities”, and believes that the continued victimisation of those most at risk in society will spur on support for a Labour-led government in 2020, stating that a Labour government is possible if “we are on the side of the majority”.

Bill went onto argue that Labour’s economic policy was key in winning over the majority, and that a Labour led Government would ensure an economy that would grow and develop to benefit all those in society.
