Sefton Central Labour MP Bill Esterson enjoyed a strawberry tea at an Age Concern Crosby fundraising event.

The MP joined Age Concern Crosby supporters at the Waterloo Park Day Centre in Waterloo for the special event.

As well as getting the chance to enjoy strawberries and cream, other goodies were on hand as local businesses came along selling their produce, including Real Ice Cream Co and The Talking Bee who produces and sells jams, honey and chutney.

Bill said he was delighted to give his support to an excellent local charity.

Bill said: "The team at Age Concern Crosby really are brilliant. They are committed to help Age Concern Crosby's patrons who come from all parts of Sefton Central and further.

"Thank fully the weather was kind to us and we were able to enjoy our strawberry in the lovely garden at the Waterloo Park Day Centre.

"It was good to catch up with the team again and meet some of the charity's supporters and some of the people who use the many services on offer."
