Maghull Labour MP Bill Esterson welcomes Summerhill Primary pupi

Sefton Central Labour MP Bill Esterson with the pupils of Summerhill Primary who visited Parliament this week.

 

Maghull's Labour MP Bill Esterson welcomed pupils from a popular local primary school to Parliament this week.

Pupils from the Poverty Lane school made the trip to London where they got to see the sights.

One of the youngster's stops during their visit was Westminster where they had a tour of the Houses of Parliament and meet their MP.

Bill said he was delighted to welcome the young delegation from Maghull to Parliament.

Bill said: "I was proud to welcome the young people from Summerhill to Westminster.

"They were attentive and inquisitive throughout their visit and they had some excellent questions about my role as their MP and what goes in Parliament.

"It was a pleasure to meet up with them and their teachers and I look forward to catching up with them all again when I visit their school in the very near future."
