Maghull Town Council Fireworks Display went with a bang.

Thousands turned out to enjoy the display at Whinneybrook Playing Field on Bonfire Night.
More than £2600 was raised for the Mayor of Maghull's chosen charities.

Maghull Town Council leader Cllr Caroline Esterson thanked all the volunteers who helped on the night.

Cllr Esterson said: "The fireworks display was spectacular and we were lucky that the rain stayed off.

"I would like to thank everyone who gave up their time and braved the cold to help out on the night, including the volunteers from St John Ambulance who kindly came along, Maghull Town Council staff and my Labour colleagues on the council.

"I would also like to thank the many people who patiently queued to get in and all those who supported a fabulous community charity event."
